
Jaggery and tamarind chutney recipe
Both jaggery and tamarind can prove beneficial for your health. People like the sour-sweet taste of this chutney very much. This sauce is often served with street foods. But let us tell you that you can make this sauce at home too. To make jaggery and tamarind chutney, you will definitely have a half cup tamarind pulp, a cup of jaggery, a spoon sugar, half spoon fennel, a spoon red chili powder and salt.
First step- First of all, drain water in a bowl. Now soak tamarind pulp well in this water.
Second step- After a while, you have to mash tamarind pulp in water. You also have to follow this procedure with jaggery.
Third step- Take out the water in a bowl and then add jaggery to this water and let it melt.
Fourth step- Now you have to offer pan on medium flame. You have to add mashed tamarind pulp in this pan and cook well.
Fifth step- When tamarind pulp is cooked, then you have to add a cup of jaggery in this pan and mix both these things.
Sixth step- Now add sugar, red chili powder and salt to this mixture. You have to cook this mixture until it boils two to three times.
Seventh step- To enhance the taste of this chutney, you also mix fennel at the end. Now after cooking the sauce for one to two minutes, you can turn off the gas.
